Sugar free banana and chocolate muffins
Cooking with your children not only increases your emotional bond with them but can be educational too.
As you cook, talk about healthy eating and home-cooked food, and introduce simple mathematics as you weigh and count the ingredients out.
This recipe can be changed to use a variety of different flavours
330g Self raising flour
3 tbsps. Coco powder
2 grated bananas
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp Vanilla flavouring
5 tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup of water
To make approx. 12 muffins
Mix all of the ingredients together until it forms a light batter, place into cake cases and cook in a warmed oven on 180c for approximately 15 minutes or until a knife comes away cleanly.
