Our Routine

8.00 – 9.00am
Breakfast time

Children are provided with a range of cereals or toast to choose from

8.00 – 9.00am
Free play

Children are able to play freely at this time after having breakfast should they need it

9.00 – 10.00am
Free play and Adult Focused Activity

Children can either play freely or take part in the adult led activity which is often led by the child’s key person

10.00 – 10.15am
Snack

Snack is on a free flow system, the children can choose when they are ready to eat their snack during this time.

10.15 – 11.00am
Garden time

All weather undercover play are will be accessed when appropriate

11.00 – 11.45am
Free play and nappy change time

Any children in nappies are changed unless they have been done at an earlier point

11.45am
Group time

Children are encouraged to take part in the group time of singing, stories or show and tell

12.00 noon
Lunch time

Children are encouraged to use the toilet and wash their hands before lunch and to use cutlery throughout the meal

12.45pm
Sleep time

Children sleep according to their individual routines, however this is a popular time for sleep in the Sunflower room

12.45 – 3.00pm
Free play and adult focused activity
3.00 – 3.45pm
Garden time
3.45 – 4.00pm
Nappy change time
3.45 – 4.00pm
Group time
4.00pm
Tea time
4.30 – 6.00pm
Free play until home time
