But what to do with fresh mint? There is a huge range of fun and exciting ways you can use mint.

You can stimulate your child’s senses by using fresh herbs in sensory play. Just touching, ripping and cutting the mint will fill the air with the overwhelming scent of fresh mint.

Why not try growing mint with your child in your own garden. It’s so straightforward to grow but just watch it doesn’t take over! You can buy a plant from the garden centre or even the supermarket and just plant it in a suitable spot in your garden.
